NV200 Spectral attracted attention

Positive participation of Innovative Technology at recent AGE

Innovative Technology (Asia Pacific reported a successful show at the Australasian Gaming Expo (AGE) which took place last week in Sydney. The NV200 Spectral - the most technically advanced note validator in its class – impressed visitors with its enhanced security features including stained note detection and optical & mechanical anti-strimming technology.

Commenting on the show, Kerry Cowan, Sales Director - Asia Pacific, commented: “Four years after the formation of Innovative Technology Asia Pacific, business in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region is now significant so our presence at AGE is something of a landmark for us. It was the first time we have exhibited at the show and we are delighted that it was a real success for us.”

“Our major focus at the show was obviously Australia and New Zealand but because our banknote validators accept multiple currencies, we are also seeing growth and uptake of our products in the other APAC regions,” added Cowan.

Marcus Tiedt, Sales Director for Gaming, Amusement & Vending also attended said: “We welcomed many visitors to the stand, not just from the gaming industry but from the amusement, retail and vending industries as well so we pretty much covered the whole product range. The NV200 Spectral seemed to attract the most interest.”

Innovative also had the Nova Green NV200 banknote validator on the stand. This is available for slot machines in Australia through their partnership with ecash and is approved for gaming in Australia. It boasts exceptional note handling of notes up to 85mm wide and has a secure, removeable cash box that can hold up to 1000 notes, making it is ideal for global high-volume applications.

Kerry concluded: “We are delighted with the feedback from AGE and look forward to following up with all the queries we received. Australian clubs and pubs seem to be noticing the value of add-on capabilities of the amusement sector, so we look forward to expanding our reach even further in the region over the coming years in this sector.”
