Neymar participates in Pokerstars tournament with Piqué, Lo Celso and Akkari

The stars of the Brazilian, Spanish and Argentine national football teams participated in the Charity Table of the PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT). Fan of the game, the athlete of Paris Saint-Germain won the second place behind André Akkari, the best Brazilian poker player. The prize was donated to Instituto Neymar Jr, founded by Bruna Marquezine's boyfriend and located in Santos.

Neymar reunited Gerard Piqué, his former partner in Barcelona, away from the pitch: passionate about poker, the Brazilian athlete was one of the participants of the PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) charity table, for which he represents the Neymar Jr Institute, along with Shakira’s husband. "I took all of him," he joked about the Spanish national team star while filming an Instagram Stories.

The event in question is the EPT Barcelona, which began on August 21 and will run until September 2, and brings together other football stars as Gerard Piqué and Brazilian Arthur, both Barcelona players.

At the end of the table, Bruna Marquezine's boyfriend came second to the charity table, behind only André Akkari, considered the best Brazilian player in world poker.

"Oh, Neymar, you are too special, my love for you is absurd. The way you push and agglutinate people is something to be studied, continue doing good, killing negative energies in the chest and giving back love to the world," wrote André about him, assigning the won prize to the Neymar charity institute.

Known at the poker tables, Neymar participated in the EPT, also in Barcelona, in 2015 when he was PokerStars ambassador. In July, the Brazilian ace finished in 6th place in the High Roller tournament of the Brazilian Series of Poker, São Paulo stage, and took home a prize pool of R$ 79,440.00 (US$ 19,400).

The tournament is being held at Casino Barcelona, described as "a world of entertainment, combining gastronomy, live music, shows and gambling in an extraordinary setting."

The presence, especially of the Brazilian soccer star, aroused great attention inside the room and also by the media, who approached to see the Brazilian star.

Neymar posed for photo alongside André Akkari, a Brazilian who plays poker professionally and is a personal friend of the striker. PSG will return to the field for the French Championship on Saturday, 1 September.
